While my experience in Business Analysis, Data Governance, Data Integration and Business Intelligence & Reporting spreads over many years and industries; they all focus on improving complex business and technical problems through this Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Governance and Integrated Solutions. The roles all centre on the management and integration of Enterprise-Wide company data across all business-critical departments, and the development of their corresponding BI Reporting & Analytics.
This often comprises of talking to stakeholders, analysing what data should really be stored in different systems, how it is to be stored through the development of standards and naming conventions, the automation of data quality processing, how secure this data is through the creation of roles within the Enterprise Data Warehouse, how up-to-date this data is by agreement with different departmental stakeholders on Data Stewardship, Governance, Compliance and adherence to the Data Rules, and how this data is centralised via the determination and management of Master Data.
